Moving Forward into 2012!
Ending our 2011 year with fun Christmas dances in classes and nursing home outreaches, we are setting our focus on a wonderful 2012! We begin our year with five of our girls traveling with Miss Savannah to New Orleans to dance at the halftime show in the BCS national championship at the Superdome. The team is made up of Lauren, Savannah, Abigail. Alyssa, and Michelle. Have a blast girls! We are also looking forward to having over 15 of our girls compete in the Dance Masters of America Titled Competition later this month, as well as cheer Michael on as he gives up his title at Mr. Teen Dance of Oklahoma. We are also welcoming guest choreographer, Brent Oplotinik, this month both for our company and master classes. Recital dances in each class are beginning as prepare for "Going Places", our 18th Annual Recital. This recital will explore various nations, spiritual places, seasons of our lives, and journeys through which God takes us.
MOTHER/DAUGHTER CLASS BEGINS IN FEBRUARY!
This class is for mothers and their daughters (ages 5 through 12) to enjoy a special hour together each week on Mondays from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM. This class will consist of basic ballet warm up and then continue in lyrical/expression dance, Jewish folk dance, and sign language. We will work towards our recital in May in which we will perform a nice number together. Cost is $50 per month per mother/daughter/s pair or set. There is no extra charge for extra daughters. Workout clothing or dance clothing is the class dress code along with pink leather ballet shoes. No dance experience required and this class is open to new students and mothers.
